After reading this it gives me hope that there is still wonder in this world. I just hope that there are enough people to help keep it alive for the future generations to see. Not in a zoo but in the wild where they belong to be seen. Since nature is truly amazing and never can be replaced once it is gone.

I believe the rain falls on the unprepared. Example: My wife and I were out last night having dinner when it began to rain. When finished we were able to head straight for the car because of a new fangled device called the umbrella. Just or unjust...we both were dry.

All cute animals should be protected while the ugly animals should be allowed to become extinct. Who wants to keep a giant rat or worm. Lets just keep the cute cuddly ones. We can even breed them to be cuter and cuddlier.

So you think that only cute and cuddly animals should be protected from extinction? No, all animals deserve that right, no matter how 'ugly' they may look. We are all technically animals, we are in the animal kingdom.

If god is real then he/she must be a lazy bas***d sitting on his *** (assuming he/she has one) while all the disasters go on in the world all the criminals and such, why doesnt he/she do somthing about it.
Like others have said evoloution has been theoretically proven but the only thing that proves god exists is annoying people knocking on your door telling you that god is real and that you should believe it.
Anyway good for those animals to have survived and can we start talking.... More

God gives us freedom to do what we want and God does his work in little ways that someone like you is to stupid to see. God doesn't want to do this big show so someone like you can believe in him, The point is to have faith in him even if you can't see him. Besides just because you can't see something or there is no proof that something exists doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

How do you know how god thinks and what he will do ? ... obviously evolution is real and you are stuck being hard headed unable to actually learn anything instead following stories and myths that logically make no sense

Lmao 98% of the world believes in god huh? How did you come up with that figure? Did you some how survey the entire worlds population and ask them if they believed in god. Either you are the best surveyor in the world or your a dumb @ss that talks out of his @ss and pulls stats out of thin air. This just in 99.9% of the world hates you ben2

98% ? That's funny because according to surveys Atheists and Agnostics make up nearly 16% of the population of the United States. Thats the United States alone. Of course we couldn't expect a logical number to come out of someone who truly believes there is a 2000 year old jewish carpenter hanging out in the clouds above the earth with all of our relatives.

Well, since ur probably atheist, we dont really believe YOUR relatives are up there with God. lol
And yeah, its true its not 98%. More close to 70-80%, and thats according official reports. That number is then broken up into cathlics, mormons, ect. Still, thats a big part.

One thing i dont get is why atheist find it easier to believe everything..just...happened

If sun moves little bit far the whole earth going to be ice age and if sun moves little bit close we all gonna melt down so, and who made the whole universe ? Even scientist can't answer and they can't smarter than God do you know scientist only found about universe 1/100 % so if you don't know abou God and Jesus Christ you have to be quite I don't care if you swear to God or don't care about.... Ben,

Psalm 14:1 says, "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'" Psalm 19:1 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." Romans 1:18-20 says that "men are without excuse" if they deny the existence of God, since "God has made it plain to them."
If I told you the building I'm in is a unique building in that no one ever built it, would you possibly believe such a story? When you saw the rooms, walls, carpeting,.... More

Pagan man believed that the most mentally disturbed person in their group was getting messages from God. They then started writing some of these delusional messages. In some cultures they thought that the Sun was God, they might have been more correct as without the sun there is no life. Praise ye the Sun!!

This world wasn't made to be perfect for you, it was made to be a place where we live and learn. Apparently all you have "learned" is how to have a closed mind and heart.

Maybe these animals know what humans are like and so they wanted you to believe they were extinct. Leave them alone. Why does every animal have to be catalogued like a piece of property. They own the earth as much as you do and you don't have the right to collect them and tag them and count them. LEAVE them alone. They were here before you.

They aren't cataloged like property, they are tracked and numbered for knowledge. We can learn things from animals that we never knew before. By learning where and how they live, we can protect them, among other things. Don't be so ignorant.

Isn't there a beastly animal called a Thylacine that's believed to not be extinct as well? Since it is from Australia (no offense you guys), and the 'bush' isn't really explored all that often, except by the indiginous people.. Couldn't there be a possibility of it being out there? Like the Coelicanth.

message me if you'd like to chat about it! :D

Better known as a Tasmanian Tiger, footage has come out of a reported sighting but the footage is pretty ambiguous. You can find old footage of the last confirmed Thylacine being taunted in a cage to small for him. So sad.a4r7l

Before the day it happened, I was the first person to question others beliefs, question their 'God', point to the overwhelming science of evolution, and how we came to be. But I can honestly say that I feel in the deepest part of my body, wether it be my brain or my soul, that God choose to speak to me. I have no idea why, it didn't come at some crisis in my life or at a moment of triumph, it was just a Thursday. Without giving a full testimony, the only thing I can say is that before that.... More

It doesn't necessarily need to be God or evolution....it could be both....If the former catholic pope was able to understand that science has a strong case for evolution...where does that leave you? Where are these problems you speak of anyway when it comes to evolution? Those fossils that are thousands of feet underground clearly showing different stages of evolution...where they just implanted by the devil to corrupt our minds? or is it that all scientists are the devils henchmen and are all.... I agree with you 100% Tavi; it is both. who says a day on Earth is equal to a day in heaven? God created the Earth in 6 days, but His "days" can be the equivalent of thousands of years on Earth. Carbon dating also proves that things have been around for millions of years. Many scientists agree that evrything, including the start of the universe, points to a Supreme being. So they do coexist, and these species are amazing to be alive. Nature uses natural selection, which can also be proved, to.... More

Laotian rock rat

This species was first discovered for sale as meat at a market in Thakhek, Khammouan, in Laos in 1996, and was considered so unusual and distinct from any other living rodent that it was given its own family. Then in 2006, after a systematic reanalysis, the Laotian rock rat was reclassified — incredibly — to belong to an ancient fossil family that was thought to have gone extinct 11 million years ago. Return trips to Laos by the Wildlife Conservation Society have uncovered several other specimens, raising hopes that the animal may not be as rare as once thought.
