Caliouses are the result of something called work. It's what most us have to do to survive. I would rather survive than die with pretty fingernails.

Some of you are missing the point . (1) that is how you hold a small bird so you don't hurt it when fliming it (2) we all should be happy to know that we (mankind) have done so much ills to this world since we've been here to find ( ok catch ) this fish in the 1940s when every one said it was gone and now we know that it's been on this rock for abuoy 100 million years we could say WOW adn (3) we all have a part to play and we all must take some blame for where this world is today, we all.... Ancient Fossils That Evolutionists Don't Want You To See
Why, if species have descended from other species by fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Why is not all nature in confusion,.... More

All planets are warming. 10,000 years ago, glaciers covered North America. Then guess what? The ice melted. There must have been a lot of farting mammoths to produce all that methane! Things warm, then cool, the recent volcano eruption pushes more co2 into the atmosphere than mankind does in decades or more. And years ago, there were more active volcanoes. Global warming is the largest fraud ever perpetuated by man. The largest transfer of wealth to those who didn't earn it. .... More

It seems that Scrips, Woods Hole, and other ocean studies professional groups, believe that all of the carbon emissions end-up turning the ocean's Ph into a base which endangers coral, oysters, and other shell fish. Farm breeders report that they have lost entire season's crops due to this effect. Is that a fact?

I agree with steve and anonymous! i also agree that global warming may not be real (i think it is) and this bird is absoulutly adorable!!!! i would love to have one. :) why would you notice the person's hands anyway??
people like that are rich and snotty and i hate them. They dont care at all about what is happening to the earth, just about money. So if "layla" has anything else to say, i would say shut up and stop thinking just yourself so. Ya, i agree defiantly.

Even if you don't believe in global warming, look at it this way:
If we're right and global warming's real, then we're all screwed.
If you're right and it isn't, then we're not, but it won't hurt to help our planet anyway. No use debating whether it's real or not-save the Earth and make sure these animals don't go extinct again!

Large-billed reed-warbler

This species has been hailed as the world's least-known bird. It is known only from a single specimen collected in 1867, and was long believed extinct. Then in Thailand in 2006, a wild population was discovered and confirmed to be large-billed reed-warblers via DNA matching to the original specimen. Today the birds largely remain a mystery, and unfortunately DNA sequence variation points to a stable or shrinking population structure.
