When i was young i would read about many birds that , because of man are now gone forever . This one bird has given me hope that if we (mankind) can leave parts of our world that we inhabit with many other life forms , from birds, fishes and so much more for them to have some kind of a chance then one day may be our children or great or even great great grand children can say like i said today when i saw a bird that i was told as a child was no longer WOW it's still alive .

Ancient Fossils That Evolutionists Don't Want You To See
Why, if species have descended from other species by fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Why is not all nature in confusion,.... More

It is impossible for a species that has gone extinct to become extant again. Even though these species may appear identical, or even have very similar DNA, it is impossible. The chances of an extant species with the exact same genome as an extinct species genome is EXTREMELY unlikely.

Is it possible that maybe what we thought was extinct was really just hard to find? How many expert zoologist are out there combing the world for extinct animals of every species in every continent? Just because a small group of people say something does not exist, does not make them right...we are constantly making new discoveries of life that we thought never existed or was impossible!

Takahe

The Takahe is a flightless bird indigenous to New Zealand thought to be extinct after the last four known specimens were taken in 1898. However, after a carefully planned search effort, the bird was rediscovered in 1948 near Lake Anau. This rare, odd-looking bird remains endangered today, with only 225 individuals remaining.
