The radiation levels at Lake Karachay are so high, that you'll reach the lethal dose by 5 min and staying a whole hour would kill you within the next hours ( assuming you magically get away from there by the end of the hour and don't receive even more radiation)...and you put it at 9. place?

I guess that it is dangerous to live everywhere and you can be in safe anywhere as well. It depends not only on the place where you live.

LUCIFER CREATED DEMOCRATS AND GO CARTS
DID LUCIFER CREATE DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICANS
Scientific investigation has determined that Go Carts has existed long before political whores appeared on some rock of the planet. These lousy leeches generally live off their wits rather than performing any type of labor at all. Evidently the Go Cart came on the scene first in order for the bums to ride through life from ballot box to voting arm chairs in some lush surroundings furnished.... More

I did deep research and wrote an argumentative essay about dirty places. As an industry rises instuntly, more and more places become unlivable in Asia and throughout the world.

People who speak Ukrainian, don't know anything about the word "Wormwood", so do not try to translaye something that you do not know for sure. Also, this accident is the fault of communistic USSR who built the atomic plant in Ukraine: they knew that it will explode sooner or later, but no one cared.

I don't think the communist builders knew for sure that the station will explode. They did experiment but criminal negligence is common thing for USSR. Also Ukraine was one of the backbones of USSR, it was not a suburban place. Ukrainians constructed a spacecraft for Gagarin and Ukrainians built Chernobyl station but all of that was under Moscow eye and experiment has been done to impress Kremlin government. You should read .... More

Nature's already got this one worked out. Just more proof that Earth will be fine (albeit maybe with a whole lot less biodiversity). The question is, will we be around?

Your right...the hatie earth quake, was a sign, the next big one WILL hit the us. If anyone studies the plates, you will see the plate that hasnt had a big one, is the US, all the plates are pushing/pulling at this direction now. and I think I know where, and I have told people that the VERY old trees that are still standing, prove it. Via the water marks high up in the trees...west coast...told people, people dont want to look at the evedence, even after researchers confirmed what I said.More

Where is the place you warned about being next in U.S.? Is it any particular city or State? Where do you find info on the "plates"? Any time period?
I thought I read that the radiation from Chernobyl would travel to the U.S. West Coast and be strong there after 30 years. Does anyone know about that?

I've been there. At the time nobody lives in Chernobyl all the time. People work 2 weeks and then go home for 2 next weeks. There's town Prypiat near Chernobyl - it's far more dangerous. Nobody lives there at all, just guard changes every day..

And it isn't over yet. The buried red forest of Chernobyl is still emitting high levels of radiation and now needs to be reckoned with. US legislators have now turned once again to nuclear power as an energy source for our ever increasing needs. This is such a shame. We obviously didn't learn much from Chernobyl. There is a nuclear power plant on the WA/OR border that sits atop a major fault line and the head of engineering for that project had no experience in fault-line construction. Hope the.... More

Chernobyl means "wormwood" in Ukranian, it's predicted in the book of Revelation in the New Testament - if this interpretation is correct, then we've not heard the last of Chernobyl yet...

If they would have had a coal power plant they could still be living there. this is what you are going to get if you shut down the coal industry. you people need to think about what you are doing.

Chernobyl, Ukraine

Chernobyl is the town in northern Ukraine home to the Chernobyl disaster of 1986, the worst nuclear power plant accident in history. Once home to more than 14,000 residents, the town remains mostly uninhabited and unsafe today due to extensive radioactive contamination.
