A full moon hovers above a cloud-shrouded mountain range on Nov. 30 as seen from Scotland's Duncryne Hill near Loch Lomond.

Loch Lomond and the nearby hills of the Trossachs make up one national park, which was established by the Scottish Parliament in the early 2000s along with Cairngorms National Park.

The sky is reflected in the glassy waters of Loch Lomond on Nov. 30 as people fish from the picturesque Inversnaid Pier near Stirling, Scotland.

Although the famous Loch Ness is Britain's largest lake by volume, Loch Lomond, which is situated on Scotland's Highland Boundary Fault, is the largest lake by surface area.
