A battle of fire and ice
A warehouse is coated in heavy layers of ice on Jan. 23 after firefighters spent hours spraying the exterior with water to extinguish a massive blaze that sparked late Tuesday night on the south side of Chicago, Ill.

With temperatures in the single digits, more than 200 firefighters rushed to the scene to wrangle with the five-alarm fire. By the end of the battle, ice covered nearly everything around the vacant property.
