The Rose of Jericho earned the nickname “resurrection plant” because it’s one of the most resilient plants on Earth.
During particularly dry weather, this desert plant curls into a tight ball, and it can survive in this state for years. When it’s exposed to moisture again, the Rose of Jericho unfurls its leaves.
