Men make up a large majority of the workforce in manual labor industries including construction, energy, and HVAC. As these industries are seeing a surge in funding thanks to the trend towards a green collar economy, women are left wondering how they can get a piece of the green jobs pie.|

I see this as a real concern and timely given tomorrow is Equal Pay Day, a day to draw awareness to the fact that women have yet to close the gap in wages with their male coworkers. Funding for green construction projects is nice, but women are left to fend for their own piece of the green job dream. Good thing we're resourceful.
