Watch: Pennsylvania College's weatherization training program

Community and technical colleges are a major player in green jobs training, and Pennsylvania College's program has laid the groundwork for 6 other training centers in the state.

Community and technical colleges across the country have received funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to create or expand green jobs training programs. These programs provide training for energy efficiency retrofits, weatherization projects, solar installation and more.
 
Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport has a great weatherization training program that was recently featured in a video by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The program at Pennsylvania College has laid the groundwork for six other training centers in Pennsylvania.
