Artisanal is also known as 'handcrafted.'
When it comes to food, this term means “made by hand or in a traditional way,” such as in small batches.
Think un-branded, very high quality, and full of authentic flavor. Think handcrafted beer or chocolates or bread or sausage.
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting hungry.
