Conservation News

Conservation

Conservation is the protection and preservation of something that already exists. Common areas associated with conservation include plant and animal conservation, water conservation, soil conservation, energy conservation and resource conservation. Conservation is addressed on large and small scales; federal governments, corporations, nonprofit organizations, lobbyist groups and many other bodies are focused on conservation issues. It is also a personal practice in the environmental movement; one may practice conservation in the home or as a lifestyle, by limiting and reducing the amount of energy (electricity for lighting, heating/cooling homes, powering electronics; fuel for cars) and resources (water, paper, etc.) used on a daily basis.
