EcoSense for Living, a series that exposes everyday tips and topics to simultaneously save money and the environment, was developed by Jennie Garlington. Jennie is an environmental media champion, Atlanta native, former CNN producer, mother and concerned citizen. Jennie comes from a family steeped in environmental responsibility and gained her appreciation for the environment from her father, Ted Turner.  Growing up, her home was the one on the block that did not use pesticides on the lawn. The kids weeded. They carpooled. Her family didn’t pump up the heat in the winter; they wore sweaters. It started at home and it started in the Ted Turner family.
