Energy Efficiency

Appliances refer to items like microwaves, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, washers and dryers and others found around the home and some businesses, most of which are major energy hogs. Green appliances, often given "Energy Star" approval, are ones that have been improved on the eco-friendliness scale — they use less energy and therefore emit a decreased amount of carbon emissions and are better for the environment.
