Environmental Science

Environmental science is similar to environmental research in that it is the study of the interaction of the living and non-living components of the environment with special emphasis on the impact of humans on these components. Environmental science is a very dynamic area of research and involves many different fields of study such as biology, biodiversity, and ecology.

Environmental science also looks at the socio-political & economic impact that humans are having on the environment. (Source: Hartwick College/ Photo: Shutterstock)
