Green Commute

Starting your own green commute is an important environmentally-friendly step. Whether you walk, bike, take public transportation via bus or train, rollerblade, row, telecommute, teleport ... you're helping the environment by decreasing harmful emissions from your vehicle. If you must drive, start a carpool. Filling your car with other people takes that many cars off the road — decreasing emissions and traffic and saving each of you money. (Photo: iStockphoto)
