Habitats

A habitat is the natural living or dwelling environment for a particular plant or animal species.  Many habitats are ecosystems in and of themselves in which there is a delicate balance of temperature, humidity, flora and fauna; and even the slightest environmental disruption can be dangerous for the native wildlife or organism.
