Healthy Eating

Healthy eating, unlike fad diets, involves making healthy food choices and establishing a well-balanced diet. Research has shown that following a healthy eating plan can reduce the risk of developing high blood pressure and lower an already elevated blood pressure.

A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats while low in saturated fat, cholesterol and refined carbohydrates is the foundation of a healthy diet. And, can help lower the risk of developing diabetes, some cancers, heart attack and stroke.  Along with exercise, healthy eating is part of an overall lifestyle of healthy living.
