There's something in the water in Hollywood.

Alyssa Milano has announced that she's expecting a child with husband David Bugliari later this year. "Yes, it's true," she tweeted. "And we couldn't be happier. Thank you for your warm wishes and love!"

The 38-year-old actress, who recently spoke to MNN's Gerri Miller, says that she's obsessed with the green lifestyle. "I just pre-ordered the Nissan Leaf," she said back in December, adding that her husband had the Chevy Volt on order.

Milano further explained to Celebrity Baby Scoop that her efforts to live a more sustainable life had something to do with being a good role model for her future children.

“After the oil spill, I had this strong feeling that if I ever were to be blessed in having children, I never wanted my kids to see me pumping gas at a gas station,” she said. “I think it’s our responsibility to make the changes that we need to take regardless of convenience. I know it’s more inconvenient to have an electric car, but I’ll do what I have to do. I’m also a vegetarian. I have five dogs and 10 horses and about 90 percent of them are rescues.”

Milano joins a massive baby boom underway in Tinseltown, with other green celebrities like Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard, Alicia Silverstone and Jessica Alba all expecting later this year.
