Located on 294 acres of meadows and woodlands including a spring-fed lake, certified green business Circle Pines Center has been instilling a mission of social justice, cooperation and environmentalism since 1938. The overnight camp for 8- to 17-year-olds focuses on community living and the impact of lifestyle on the environment. An on-site organic garden and orchard provide some of the camp’s food. Hiking, arts and crafts, sports and folk dancing are balanced with games and activities that teach social and environmental awareness.
