Located near the Puget Sound, IslandWood’s goal is to inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship using the 255-acre outdoor site as a classroom for experiential hands-on learning. The lodges were built sustainably with recycled wood, cork flooring and solar panels for hot water. Day camps, overnight camps and excursions are offered for 4-year-olds to 12th graders. The camp even offers a family weekend getaway so everyone can get in on the action.
