STAR ECO Station Summer Camp: Culver City, Calif.
Part exotic wildlife rescue center and part nonprofit environmental education center, STAR ECO Station provides hands-on educational day camps for first- through seventh-graders in a tropical jungle setting. Weeklong programs range from helping staff care for exotic animals to learning about global warming and deforestation to learning the process scientists use to make discoveries in nature.
