Captain Planet and the Planeteers

The five Planeteers are from different parts of the world, but they share the desire to save the Earth. The rings supplied by Gaia give them special powers to control an element of nature. Kwame's element is Earth, Wheeler's element is fire, Linka's element is wind, Gi's element is water, and Ma-Ti's elements is heart. Captain Planet is a composite of the five Planeteers and their powers -- Earth, fire, wind, water and heart -- magnified.
