It's that time of year again.  Time to break out the black paint and spooky eyes and craft up some spooky goodness.  Are you ready to scare up some fun this Halloween?  

 

Here are five eerily awesome Halloween craft ideas:

 

Bottle bat.  These quirky bats are as fun to make as they are to look at.  And you can gather almost all of the supplies from your recycling bin.  Just add a few buttons and googly eyes to a plastic bottle and construction paper scraps, and  - voilà - Bottle Bat!  

 

 

 

 

 

Sock skeleton.  This craft is a little more complicated and as such is better suited for older children or those who are particularly talented with a needle and thread.  In other words, I couldn't do it, but my ten year old would love it.  You'll need a sewing machine and embroidery floss to make this sock skeleton come to life.

 

 

 

 

Stained glass candy corn.  This craft is very simple to make and with its basic supply list it would be perfect for group crafts such as play groups or scout meetings.

 

 

 

 

Cheesecloth ghosts.  These fun, spooky critters are so simple to make you'll probably want to create a whole herd of them.  And that's perfect because they are great for hanging virtually anywhere in your house.
