5 handmade gifts that kids can make

Easy yet elegant craft gifts for kids of all ages to give this holiday season.

Holiday crafts for kids
Let the kids get in on the holiday DIY with these 5 easy to make, yet lovely to behold crafts:

Bath fizzies. These super cute and super easy-to-make bath fizzies are a great gift for those whole love to live naturally.  And I like that the recipe uses simple, easy to find ingredients like baking soda, cornstarch, and sugar.  Just mix them all together and pop in a ice cube tray to form!

Bead bookmark. These beaded bookmarks are as elegant as they are useful.  They make the perfect gift for the bookworm on your list. And you can't get much simpler.  Great crafts for kids and adults alike!

Holiday handprint.  Celebrate any winter holiday with this sweet card that's full of sentimental cheer.  This craft has all of my favorite features: it's ridiculously easy to make, so it's perfect for even the youngest kids; it doesn't require any fancy materials or skills; and it's sure to bring a smile to any loved one lucky enough to receive it.  Table sugar adds the glittery touch that turns your child's handprint into a real piece of art.

Felted gift envelopes.  Giving a gift card this holiday season?  These felted gift envelopes are the perfect touch for adding a little homemade appeal to your gift.  They also a great way to use up scrap pieces of felt and ribbon.  A lovely craft for older kids who have learned a few simple stitches.

Doorstop snowman. Kids will love getting their hands dirty molding this snowman out of a paving stone and clay, and you'll love how easily it all comes together.  Add a piece of felt to his bottom to use as an indoor doorstopper, or swap out regular acrylic paint for an all-weather variety to turn him into an outdoor decoration.
