Last week, I wrote about Walmart's Earth Day contest to give $20,000 to one school for going green.  To enter, students, parents, or teachers simply need to submit an essay about the things their school is doing to go green.  Now, while  you're in essay writing mode, I have another green school contest to tell you about...America's Greenest School.

Winners of the America's Greenest School contest will receive a hybrid school bus for their school district and $3,000 in school supplies plus a $5,000 scholarship for the author of the winning essay.  The contest is open to students only.  To win, kids just need to write an essay about how their school makes an effort to go green.  Contest ends April 30th.
