Mark your calendars for a Friday filled with fun!  Dr. Seuss' birthday is this Friday, March 2nd and there are lots of super-silly ways to celebrate.

For starters, the National Education Association (NEA) has declared March 2nd as Read Across America Day in honor of the super Seuss.  The idea is to get kids interested and excited about reading - one awesome book at a time.  Want to spend the day curled up with your little cutie and a stack of books?  Here is a list of my favorite Dr. Seuss titles.

If crafts are more your thing, maybe you're looking for come Seusically silly ways to celebrate the day.  Check out this list of fabulously fun ideas.

Want more Seussy-fun?  Hold onto your popcorn, the new movie, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is coming to theaters this Friday.  I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard great things from those I know who have.  Check out the trailer and let me know what you think...
