Last year, the new documentary studio from Disney that focused purely on full-length nature films made a very successful debut with the release of Earth — bringing in over $100 million at the box office. Disneynature is hoping to duplicate that success with the release of Oceans this week on Earth Day (April 22).  

 

To celebrate the opening week of Oceans, Disney is asking you to make a splash by bringing in six plastic bottles or aluminum cans to your local Disney store on April 22.  If you do, they'll give you a free Oceans and Friends For Change-branded

hat made from six recycled plastic bottles. The promotion aims to demonstrate how everyday materials can be reused, recycled, or upcycled to create an entirely different item.
