It has been brought to my attention (by my eight-year-old daughter,) that I am old. Humph! What does she know from old? She thinks that anyone born before the year 2000 is old, even if they are still sporting acne and braces and counting down the days until they can apply for their junior driving permit.
But seeing as that I am at about the halfway point on this chart about growing old gracefully, I guess it's safe to say that I'm not exactly young anymore either. Health concerns that were once in my periphery now take a front row seat in my daily life. But hey, at least I don't have to worry about acne and braces anymore!
Check out this chart for a decade-by-decade guide to the health issues that you should be paying attention to - know matter how old, or young, you are.
