I came across this craft project on YouTube today and just had to share it. It's a variation of a project that I want to make with my daughter's Girl Scout troop this year. The video above shows you how to make a Thanksgiving book with your kids that captures all of their special memories for this year ... favorite foods, what they're grateful for, etc. This is a great idea, but I'd like to take it even further and help my kids make books that they can add to year after year after year. That way, every year they can write down and draw pictures of whatever is special to them at Thanksgiving. I figure by the time they are old enough to scoff at this craft tradition, I will have captured several years of memories in one heirloom keepsake!
