Lori Helman, mom of 4, enterpreneur, homeschool teacher, environmental activist, and founder of Momma’s Baby gave me this fantastic eco-recipie for a quick and easy craft dough that's better for kids than the petroleum based stuff you find at the store.  Give it a try!

 

Ingredients

1 cup organic flour

½ cup sea salt

2 Tbs. cream of tartar

1 cup filtered water

1 Tbs. vegetable oil

Food dyes and/or glitter (optional)

 

 

Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar in a saucepan. Combine water and oil in a small bowl. Stir into flour mixture gradually. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until very thick, stirring constantly. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes. Knead until smooth. Seperate dough into 4 balls and add dye and/or glitter as you desire.  Store in an airtight container.
