Petroleum-based plastic is the bane of the eco-world, yet it's everywhere ... especially in products made for kids. But there are alternatives ... vegetable-based plastics that give you the form and function of the pol-based variety with out the environmental destruction and health concerns. But I never knew I could make the stuff at home until I learned how from Ravi at Green Business Show.
