Natural remedies to beat back colds
Ease the sneezes and sniffles this school year with these natural remedies.

So here we are just one week in to the school year and my whole family is sick. It's just the sniffles (for now,) but it is still extremely irritating. Try as we might to eat healthfully, exercise, rest, and wash our hands like the dickens, we still wind up coming down with a few good "family colds" every year.
For the most part, I try to ride it out and let the cold take it's course. But I hate to see my kids suffering with a runny nose, especially when I know that whenever I'm not looking, they are more than likely using their sleeves or their hands to wipe up the runs. Fortunately, there are some natural cold remedies that help ease the symptoms of a cold without dyes and an overabundance of other nasty chemicals. I can't really recommend one over the other, but here are a few good ones to try:
