Looking for a new book to share with your kids this Earth Day? Think Green!
by Jeanine Behr Getz is a great new eco-book that teaches kids about all of the different ways they can help protect the planet. From turning off the TV before leaving the room, to picking up litter, to planting trees, Think Green!
tells the story of a group of friends that each try to do their part to go green. The book even includes a page in the back for your kids to write and draw their own ideas about going green.
I love the bright, silly, Simpson-esque images and the solid eco-messages that avoid being preachy. And most of all, I love that this eco-book actually takes its message to heart. Think Green! is printed on 100% recycled fibers that are processed chlorine free and manufactured with carbon-offset electricity.
All in all, this book is a great book that will get you and your kids thinking green!
