This weekend, green teens from around the country will join together with parents, teachers and community members to collaborate on new and better ways to go green. On Feb. 6-7, the 4th Annual Teens Turning Green National Summit will be held at the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross, Calif.
The event will feature two days of panels, workshops, breakout sessions and discussions all with the goal of educating and inspiring teens to make healthier and greener choices. This year's panelists include Sloan Barnett, author of Green Goes with Everything, California state Senator Mark Leno, and Stacy Malkan, author of Not Just A Pretty Face and co-founder of the National Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.
