The other day, I mentioned that this year's Google Science Fair is open for submissions. And I thought it was worth mentioning that three U.S. teen girls swept the competition last year with awesome experiments about the carcinogens in grilled chicken, reducing people’s reliance on asthma medications, and helping patients who have become resistant to certain chemotherapy drugs. The three ladies joined together in a TEDex talk that is incredibly inspirational — particularly to this mother of two daughters.
