Keri: Hi. I’m Keri Greenwald from Responsible Mommy. I’m gonna tell you how your family can be a little bit more green. As you know, kids love to color and paint. When we do our projects at our table, which is pretty much every day, one thing you want to think about is always using both sides of the paper. This beautiful art project that one of my children has done, we’re just gonna flip it over and use the other side. Seems simple enough. Another thing to think about are all these catalogs and magazines that tend to end up in your recycling bin or unfortunately your garbage. Children love to cut things out. Jacob, what are you finding in these catalogs? What can you cut out? Can you cut out the tent? Will you cut out some toys? Yeah, and then can you glue them on your paper and make a little collage? As long as you’re done using your catalogs and magazines, go ahead and let the kids cut them up and use them for wonderful art projects at the house. Of course, when you’re all done with everything, put it in the recycling. If you’re like me, you print off more paper from your computer than you need. You also might get some faxes, some spam faxes that you didn’t intend to receive. Those are perfect for the kids to use. Just be creative and let them fill it up, let them hole punch it, paint it, color it, glue it. Let them use it to death until you put it in the recycling. It encourages these children to use less paper and be more responsible. That’s all for today. Remember, feeling green makes you feel great. Bye, bye.
