Cork coasters: Slice 'em
On a cutting board, slice the corks down to roughly 1/8" discs. Slice them evenly so they are all the same thickness. Be careful not to cut your fingers. For extra safety, you may want to wear a thick leather gardening (or oyster-shucking) glove on the hand that is holding the cork.
