Children’s Museum of Denver
You could fill 13 bathtubs with the paint used in just one year in the “ARTS a la Carte” exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Denver. Think that’s impressive? Kids and their families used more than 15,000 craft sticks in their “Assembly Plant” architecture to create everything from trucks to helicopters. Other permanent exhibits, like “Click Clack Train Track” and “My Market,” are supplemented by special events and classes. This summer, don’t miss the launch of a one-of-a-kind exhibit built just for CMD: “3, 2, 1…Blast Off!” is an entirely interactive experience about rockets and air play.
