Consistently ranked among the top five in the country, the Port Discovery Children’s Museum offers three floors of hands-on experiences. Exhibit space for infants and toddlers doubled this year with the new “Tot Trails,” a recreation of Maryland landscapes that includes mirrored tidal pools, softly padded sand dunes, a mountain trail and “Paw Paw Tunnel.” For kids ages 3-10, “TINKERTOY: Build Your Imagination” is a newly designed visiting exhibit with giant replicas of the classic construction set. Children can work independently or collaboratively to create designs, focusing on themes like energy, health and simple machines.
