Five stories tall, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is the world’s largest children’s museum. There are exhibits to suit any child’s interest, including “Dinosphere,” where creatures of the past come to life; the 35-foot steam engine in “All Aboard!”; the SpaceQuest Planetarium; “Barbie: The Fashion Experience;” and “Playscape,” for little ones under 5. A new permanent exhibit, “National Geographic Treasures of the Earth,” debuts this summer, allowing kids to become part of an archaeological exploration team at sites in Egypt, China and the Caribbean.
