Captain Planet was my favorite cartoon of all time followed by Magic School Bus and Scooby Doo. LOL Thanks for the quiz. It was fun and made me wish the cartoon was still airing. One is never too old for something really cool!
With all the bad influences out there, you'd thing these magnificent shows would be put back on to encourage children positively rather than have guns, fighting and gore.
I miss captain planet. When I was in primary school, I used to pretend I could summond water when I was in the shower ha ha!
I have all episodes on dvd box sets. How? I hear you cry. Well go to www.I miss my cartoon.com. They are $30 each plus shipping. They lease the rights and make the dvds, it is all legal. A few episodes have other cartoons on them and break up, apart from that it is good.
I haven't seen this show on TV since I was about 10! Seriously, I showed my little brother an ep on the net and the next day he was helping sort out the recycling. Seriously, this is still relevant.
I always loved Captain Planet! I have recently been trying to make Captain Planet popular at my school. I know there are those that don't like Captain Planet, but I'm sure they change their minds with time.
This show was second only in my favourite telly shows as a kid to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers... ;-) It was one of those shows that you just watched because it was on but then you wanted to watch it the more it happened. I think the best one I've seen was when Linka's cousin or something got hooked on drugs and she got involved as well, it wasn't a typical episode but it highlighted the problems with drugs. Linka's ring didn't work properly because of the toxins in her body, it was quite
I loved this show! I still have some of the figurines and toys and even the planeteers rings ;) haha
You would think with Global Warming and other environmental issues being such a important and prominent issue now that shows like Captain Planet would be good for kids to watch rather than the crap cartoons they have on these days.
this show inspired my school to begin recycling and also on weekends have students volunteer to clean up the city. it was awesome! and, I still have a toy light-up ring somewhere. it had interchangeable little icons of the earth, wing, etc.
I've loved this show ever since i was a kid and would like to see it back on screen cos this is the time we need moreeducation on the effects of polluting and lutting. Im very concern about our planet and our indiscreet way of life nowadays.
Wheeler is still my flavorite cartoon charactor in the whole cartooon world! FIRE!
