  • Surviving holiday shopping mania
  • For your sister Carrie, the unrepentant shoe fetishist:
  • For your brother Jeff who really needs to give his iPhone a rest:
  • For your hard-partying cousin Jerry who is still a bit crusty after Burning Man:
  • For your missive-crazy aunt Eileen who lives with eight cats:
  • For your great uncle Barry who won't stop reminiscing about the 'old days' in Brooklyn:
  • For your mom who keeps the floors spotless but needs to lay off the bleach:
  • For your dapper Grandpa Al, to encourage him to keep doling out bills to his grandkids:
  • For your roommate Russ who loses everything and insists on turning on every light in the house:
  • For your husband Dan, the dedicated bike commuter who is in desperate need of new wheels:
  • For Patches, your slobbery, four-legged godchild:
  • For your charitable girlfriend Regina who certainly doesn’t need any more stuff:
  • For your niece Eleanor, the 4-month-old eco fashionista/naturalist:
  • For your sensual, energy-conscious wife Joy who is all about the 'mood lighting':
  • For your American Apparel-obsessed boyfriend Marc who needs serious eco-fashion guidance:
  • For yourself, as a reward for all the great eco gift-giving this year:
Along with pretending to consume your Aunt Enid’s fruitcake and taking it easy on the spiked eggnog at the holiday office party, gift shopping for friends and family can be one of the more daunting tasks of the holiday season. With so much out there, gift shopping can be an overwhelming process, especially when you’re shopping for folks with particular, sometimes difficult tastes. As our gift to you, we've taken it upon ourselves here at MNN to lend a helping holiday hand by rounding up some of our favorite eco gift items. There’s something here to please everyone in the family including your off-the-grid, off-the-shower cousin to your cat-crazy aunt who prefers snail mail over e-mail. Happy shopping.
