Surviving holiday shopping mania

Along with pretending to consume your Aunt Enid’s fruitcake and taking it easy on the spiked eggnog at the holiday office party, gift shopping for friends and family can be one of the more daunting tasks of the holiday season. With so much out there, gift shopping can be an overwhelming process, especially when you’re shopping for folks with particular, sometimes difficult tastes. As our gift to you, we at MNN have taken it upon ourselves to lend a helping holiday hand by rounding up some of our favorite eco-gift items. There’s something here to please everyone in the family including your off-the-grid, off-the-shower cousin to your cat-crazy aunt who prefers snail mail over e-mail. Happy shopping. (Text: Matt Hickman)
