Hamsters are pudgy by nature, but it's important for hamster owners to make sure their pets are not obese. To ensure good health, encourage your hamster to exercise outside of its cage and feed your pet the appropriate, recommended amount of food. Filtering out high-calorie sunflower seeds and peanuts in its food mix will help, too.
