Penny the pug lets her tongue roll out of her mouth while resting her weighty limbs on a couch. It's extremely easy for pugs to become overweight and unhealthy because this breed tends to eat whatever their owners feed them.

Pugs that are overweight or obese are at risk for developing serious heart conditions and joint problems in their legs and knees. The best way to remedy a pudgy pug situation is to make sure they don't overeat and make sure they get enough daily exercise.
