I agree completely! We share our home with a rescued ragdoll cat --another rare breed -- and she's absolutely wonderful. Rescued animals seem to have an intuitive gratitude for their new families. We'd never buy a companion animal; rescue is the right thing to do.

This one and the Khao Manee cats are my favorites! But I am so in favor of adopting an animal; there are so many suffering on the streets ;(
