The puppy with the money in his mouth is a Long Haired Chihuahua. A good quality one too.

"Hybrid vigor" look it up. (Source: Biology 101 and pretty much every text book on Zoology or Genetics)

I was thinking this article was about dog breeds with genetic problems - that end up costing their owner's thousands and thousands in veterinary bills. THOSE are the most expensive dogs.

If you’re going to spend money on your pet, invest it into his food. That’s my opinion. You can rescue a dog from a shelter and he will love you just as much as a dog you pay top dollar for, but if you’re not giving him the right nutrition, like feeding something healthy like Natural Balance Ultra or some premium food with meat as the first ingredient, you’ll run into problems with their health. It’s not expensive to feed them well either.

Anyone know what the breed of the dog is in the picture with the cash? Thanks

Yes, what breed is it with all the money? It's not a pomeranion is it?

Good breeders breed for health and temperament and rarely even break even financially to do it. They found and run breed rescue necessitated by puppy mills and back yard breeders Good breeders are careful where their puppies go and take them back if necessary at any point in their lives. I know, I am a good breeder.
animals are not reproductive slaves for humans.abolish animal exploitation.
this is disgusting animal exploitation.breeders don't love animals, they exploit them for their own sefish egos and desires..breeders are eugenicists.anyone who loves dogs should go to a shelter and adopt one of the millions of dogs that are abandonned every year.never buy from a breeder.
Why is it all animals bred are only for explotarion? And money. A responsible caring breeder never makes money. I have been in my breed opver 30 yrs. and I am steadily losing it. But I DO LOVE MY DOGS and n ot everyone wants a shelter dog. Some of us LIKE purebred dogs as I do and some of us care about the future of our breeds. No sorry no shelter dogs for me.

Well then you are the exception. Just for the record there are purebred dogs at shelters. I've seen a lot of breeders that care for their 'breed" and start rescue organizations or encourage others to adopt from shelters.

I see no correlation between the pet's cuteness and the price.
