Olympians aren't just bringing home medals — they're bringing puppies
Sochi has become just as well known for its stray dog problem as it has for hosting the Olympics, but several athletes plan to help the city reduce the number of strays on its streets. They want to adopt the dogs and take them home.
U.S. silver medalist Gus Kenworthy plans to take home a mother dog and her four puppies, and the U.S. men’s hockey team is working to adopt several puppies as well.
