There are two big festivals this weekend I wanted to bring to your attention.
The North American Organic Brewers Festival
, the biggest festival of its kind in the United States, will be held in Portland, Oregon from June 25-27, 2010. The 6th
annual NAOBF will feature more than 50 organic beers from around the country.
Admission to the festival is free. For $6 festival goers can buy a reusable, compostable cup and $1 tokens that can be used to purchase a taste for one token and a full glass of beer for four tokens. Organic food is also available for purchase.
Admission is $35/day if ordered online or $40/day at the gate and gets festival goers tastings in a commemorative from all participating wineries as well as admission to all cooking demonstrations and seminars.
