Do you like wine? Do you like to go out? Ya, me too.

If you’re looking for something to do on a date night, something a little different for girls night out, or an activity when you have some alone time, a wine event may just be in order.

Local Wine Events is a fabulous resource for casual and serious wine lovers alike who want to find out what is happening wine-wise in their local area. It leads you to events in your region like wine tastings, wine dinners, cooking classes, and wine festivals.

Searching by region, you can find a dated list of events. A quick search in my region this upcoming weekend turns up a holiday wine trail weekend and a brewing company’s beer lunch that pairs beer and food. Apparently, you can find more than just wine events on this site. I’ll have to tell my husband.

Local Wine Events also offers a free newsletter called The Juice that will notify you when wine, food, beer and spirits events are happening in your local region.

Other resources on the site are articles about wine, a list of wine blogs, and links to wine clubs. I could spend a lot of time at this site.
